Terms of use

These terms cover studywren.com and the study content in StudyWren Aviation and StudyWren Insurance, published by MicroEndeavor, LLC. By using them you agree to these terms.

The apps

The apps are licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. StudyWren Pro, the optional upgrade, is covered under StudyWren Pro purchases below.

StudyWren Pro purchases

Part of each app is free. StudyWren Pro opens the rest, and the plans, prices and what each includes are on the pricing section of the Aviation and Insurance pages.

  • Apple sells StudyWren Pro and processes every payment through the App Store, using your Apple Account. We never see your payment details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown until you cancel. To cancel, turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends, in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your iPhone. You keep Pro until the period you paid for ends. The one-payment plan is a single purchase, not a subscription, and doesn't renew.
  • Apple handles refunds, not us. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • To get Pro back on a new or reset iPhone, sign in with the same Apple Account and tap Restore purchases in Settings → StudyWren Pro. Our support pages have the steps.
  • We don't offer Family Sharing for StudyWren Pro. A purchase is for one Apple Account.
  • Prices are set in the App Store and can differ by country. Price changes follow Apple's rules: Apple tells you, and asks for your consent where it requires it, before a new price applies to your subscription.

A study tool, not official guidance

  • StudyWren is an independent study tool. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the FAA, the Texas Department of Insurance, the California Department of Insurance, the Pennsylvania Insurance Department, any testing vendor or any insurer.
  • Our questions are original practice questions, not the questions on any official exam. We write them against official sources and correct them when we find errors, but rules change and mistakes happen. Check important facts against the official source.
  • The content isn't legal, insurance, tax or flight-operations advice. It doesn't replace an authorized flight or ground instructor, a required endorsement, or required pre-licensing education.
  • The pass forecast is an estimate from your practice. It isn't a promise that you will pass.

Using our content

The questions, explanations, guides and artwork on this site and in the apps belong to MicroEndeavor, LLC. You may use them for your own study. Please don't copy, republish, sell or scrape them, or use them to build another question bank or training data set, without our written permission.

Reports and feedback

If you send us a report or suggestion, you allow us to use it to improve StudyWren, without any obligation to you.

No warranty

We provide the website and the study content "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We aren't liable for losses that come from relying on the content, such as a failed exam or a missed deadline, to the extent the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top when we do. Questions go to support@studywren.com.
