Common questions
Which exams does StudyWren Insurance cover?
Fully verified: Texas Property & Casualty (TX-PC), Texas Life & Health (TX-LH), California Property & Casualty (CA-PC), California Life & Health (CA-LH) and Pennsylvania Property & Casualty (PA-PC). Our Texas license guide walks through the steps in Texas.
In early access: Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. Their questions, explanations and mock exams work in the app today, but we're still verifying them, so the app labels them Early access and some questions may be out of date or worded imperfectly. Tap "Report a problem" on any question that looks wrong.

Are these the real exam questions?
No. Every question, explanation and "Why not?" is original and written by us against each state's current Insurance Code and standard policy forms. They cover the same topics as the exam, so you learn the material rather than memorize answers.
How does the pass forecast work?
It estimates the score you'd get if you sat the exam today. It counts your first try at each question you hadn't seen before, adds what you've studied and still remember, and weights each chapter as the official blueprint does.
Early on it stays cautious, because a few answers say little. It is never 100%, because the real exam asks questions you haven't seen.
How do I set or change my exam date?
Open Settings → Exam dates. With a date set, Daily Practice paces new questions so you've seen each one about a week before the exam.
What is free, and what does StudyWren Pro add?
Chapter 1, the diagnostic and one quick mock exam are free and never expire. StudyWren Pro opens every chapter, unlimited mock exams and the whole forecast. See the plans and prices.
Does my progress sync between devices?
No. There's no account: your progress is stored only on your iPhone, inside the app. It's part of your iPhone's normal backup, so restoring a backup to a new iPhone brings it along.
Deleting the app deletes your progress.
How do I start over?
Settings → Reset. You can reset one course or all progress. It erases answers, mastery and forecast history and keeps your settings. It can't be undone. Settings → Show onboarding again replays the setup without erasing anything.
I found a mistake in a question.
Thank you. Please report it with the question's id if you have it (it's shown on each question). We check each report against the source and fix what's wrong in a later update.
Restore purchases
StudyWren Pro is tied to your Apple Account, not to the app. To get it back on a new or reset iPhone:
- Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account you bought it with.
- Open StudyWren Insurance and go to Settings → StudyWren Pro.
- Tap Restore purchases. The paywall has the same button.
To change or cancel a subscription, use Settings → StudyWren Pro → Manage subscription in the app, or Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Apple handles billing and refunds; you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
